The Persevering Pearls of Promise (P3) Interest Group launched June 30, 2015. In just 18 months, the group logged significant service hours, proving that
Macomb County was ready for a chapter of its own. On October 24, 2016, the dream became reality—the P3 Interest Group was officially approved to become a
chapter. On December 11, 2016, twenty-four phenomenal charter members proudly established Omega Xi Omega, the first graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa
Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® in Macomb County, Michigan.

Since its chartering, Omega Xi Omega has remained steadfast in its commitment to “Service to All Mankind”, expanding its reach, strengthening partnerships,
and leaving a lasting impact on the community. What began as a vision in a grocery store aisle has blossomed into a thriving legacy of excellence and
sisterhood to now over 70 women.

Welcome to Omega Xi Omega!

I am honored and truly humbled to bring you greetings on behalf of the members of the
Omega Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®. Affectionately
known as “The Chapter of Love”, we are in New Haven, MI, where we have provided award-
winning and impactful service to all mankind for the past eight years. Omega Xi Omega has
grown into a multi-generational chapter of more than 70 college-educated women who are
actively committed to serving the greater Macomb County community and ALL mankind.

Omega Xi Omega has created a rich legacy of service and leadership, and I am grateful for the
privilege to serve as the 4th President of the Original, Outstanding and “Out-Of-this-World”
Omega Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Under my administration,
Omega Xi Omega will continue to build on the foundation established by Alpha Kappa Alpha
founders and current leadership; twenty-four distinguished charter members; and the three
AKAmazing women who served before me.
